InDustry BrIeFs tesla nanocoatings wins ohio Innovative award The Innovation Fund, an Ohio technology start-up fund, has awarded Tesla NanoCoatings of Massillon, Ohio, a $100,000 grant to help the new company develop and manufacture its line of corrosion control coatings. It is the third time this year the company has been honored for its groundbreaking technology. Tesla NanoCoatings provides corrosion control coatings with fullerene carbon nanotubecathodic protection of metal to the aerospace/military, petrochemical, transportation, marine, and industrial markets. "Corrosion is a major problem in U.S. industry today. The Doddaballapur factory has the capacity to produce 2,000 portable air compressors and light towers annually. The first two machines manufactured at the new facility were light towers. Grace & Co., announced groundbreaking for its new production facility for waterproofing products in the central Chinese city of Ezhou. The new facility, scheduled to be completed in the second half of 2013, will be equipped with state-of-the-art production and quality control capabilities and will house about 100 employees.
