We have been working night and day for the past few months to create a better experience for the coatings community in print, online, and in person. And it is fnally time for us to be able to share all of the exciting news with you! In fact, just this month, you should start to see many of those changes come to fruition. Tis magazine is about you, so we sincerely hope that you enjoy these changes. CoatingsPro 2.0 First of all, as you can see with this issue, the print version of the magazine has gone through an overhaul. Starting with January, we have updated the magazine's look, and although we haven't strayed too far from the past, everything that you see was defnitely done on purpose. We want to give you the latest, greatest version of CoatingsPro…something that has been in the making for a while now. So although you might notice our new logo, updated cover, and improved pages, for instance, the goal behind this magazine will remain the same: We want to give you, coatings contractors, the best stories, news, and updates possible. Next, we have completely revamped our online presence. Te CoatingsPro website is an extension of the magazine, but we want it to be a place where you can get more up-todate information as it happens as well as fresh and new stories. Te third change going on with CoatingsPro is the addition of two new supplements to the 2014 lineup. Troughout the coatings industry, two topics seem to come up again and again: surface prep and safety. And why shouldn't they? Without the right surface prep, any coating may fail. And without proper safety, your work force may sufer. Tese are two integral components on any coatings jobsite. And so we have added surface prep and safety supplements to the March and May 2014 issues (respectively). Tey will stand alone to give you the opportunity to share them individually and to give weight to the importance of these two topics. And fnally, 2014 marks the year of bringing CoatingsPro to life! We are planning to hold a contractor-centered track at the NACE International CORROSION show in San Antonio, Texas. Te inaugural CoatingsPro contractor's forum will take place Sunday, March 9, 2014, and will be by contractors, for contractors, and about contractors. Be there; it will be one in a mil-ion!
