New Armor for Steel Tanks

Generally speaking, these three greats have little
to do with one another. Tey come from diferent
sports, diferent generations, and, some might say, diferent
approaches to their game. However, at a tank storage facility
in Baltimore, Md., this past year, these three greats
came together to create something special with
another Maryland-grown giant called Under
Armour (UA).
In fact, that's what brought the images of these players in
particular to the Locust Point neighborhood: Not only do they
all represent the Old Line State both at home and abroad, but
they all also have alliances with the sports clothing and accessory company and are now featured on three of several
recently updated tanks!

Westway Terminals, which owns 15 steel tanks that hold
anything from acids to molasses, recently agreed to have six
tanks receive face lifts. Because the terminal sits adjacent to
UA's headquarters and because UA is currently undergoing a
campus expansion and makeover project, the clothing giant
also decided to make over six tanks closest to the UA campus.
The plan was for AB Installations, Inc. to wrap three
of those with the Maryland sports giants' images and to
have another three tanks — two previously coated and one
previously covered in foam — painted to match the look of
the campus. And all six
