We felt like we were one big team." Te prep crew fred up their 10-inch (25 cm) Blastrac walk-behind shot blasters and worked the foor to International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI) concrete surface profle (CSP) 3 standards as specifed by Dur-A-Flex. Tey used Bosch seven-inch (18 cm) angle grinders to get close to perimeter walls, support posts, and other fxed objects. Te foor was swept, vacuumed, and inspected by Dur-A-Flex, Hunter Roberts, and NYEDC. Prior to installation of the Dur-A-Flex Hybri-Flex EQ fooring system, the crews used trowels to fll cracks and other imperfections with Poly-Crete WR, a three-part formulation based upon a liquid polyurethane resin. Te foor then received a single coat of Poly-Crete SL self-priming base, squeegeed and loop-rolled. Upon the still-wet surface, the crew hand broadcast to rejection SL decorative sand. Including sand, the coat measured approximately ⅛-inch (0.3 cm) dry flm thickness (DFT). Tis course was allowed to cure before excess sand was swept and vacuumed. Te crew then poured and squeegeed a single 16-mil (406 microns) DFT pass of Dur-A-Glaze #4 WB primer and hand broadcast to rejection another round of SL decorative sand. After cure, sweep, and vacuum, the crew poured and squeegeed another single 16-mil (406 microns) DFT pass of Dur-A-Glaze #4 WB primer. Tey then dipped and rolled a single 3-mil (76 microns) DFT pass of Armor Top gloss urethane protective coating. An artist stenciled and painted NY Cruise's lighthouse logo on the lobby foor, and the rendering was topped with a single 16-mil (406 microns) DFT pass of Dur-A-Glaze #4 WB followed by a single 3-mil (76 microns) DFT pass of Armor Top gloss urethane protective coating.
