62 JULY 2016 COATINGSPROMAG.COM Tech Tricks Photo courtesy of Michigan Specialty Coatings By Ryan Tilly, Digital Brand Manager for Michigan Specialty Coatings Performance Lineup T iming can be critical when dealing with high-per- formance coatings, especially when you're including an aggregate or granule to the still-wet coating. To help keep the project moving along successfully, try dividing your material in buckets along the substrate. For a decorative foor, for example, divide the total amount of square footage into sections, and then place enough fake into buckets to cover each area. Tat will help you evenly broadcast the fake across the entire foor, one section at a time. W hen you hit each new section, your bucket full of fake will be there waiting for you, helping to make the coverage even and the materials accessible. It' ll be a perfor- mance lineup to remember!
