Editor,
I'm just getting into coatings. I'm start-
ing a new contracting business in the
Midwest. Do you have any information
for newbies like me? Anything would
be helpful!

CoatingsPro
def initely has
some resources

dif ferent topics within the commercial
and industr ial coat ings worlds: concrete,
sur face prep, safet y, and equipment.
We're planning on a few more, too, so be
on the lookout for those! T here's much
to lear n f rom other contractors, too. I
would sug gest checking out the feature
stor ies to lear n f rom your peers. Finally,
I would also recommend that you check
out some online or in-person training,
seminars, and trade shows. I hope that
helps to get you star ted. T hank s for the

Feature: Roof Fix After 35 Years
It took 35 years, but this woodworker's roof is
finally fi xed! T he solution included a two-per-
son crew, a stellar strateg y, and a silicone-based
system that wouldn't affect the barbecue joint
next door.

Feature: Crafted Floor for Brewery
In the Midwest, beer rules. So when a brewery needed
a new protective flooring in one of its production
