As living organisms, we're constantly moving and changing, and that means that we need to continu- ally be working on one thing or another. Not only are we physically changing at all times, but our finances, fitness, and focus constantly change, too. e to-do list, for example, will never get shorter. Sure, you may finish your laundry and dishes on Monday, but whether you like it or not, those chores are sure to show up again next week. ere's no checking them off and moving on! Well, here at CoatingsPro, we're constantly moving and changing, too. We frequently look at our editorial calendar to make sure we're repre- senting what's best for you. We try to update our travels to trade shows to reflect what's happening in the indus- try today. We're constantly trying to talk directly with you, our readers, to learn about your needs, struggles, and successes, so that we might be able to showcase or help answer those in an upcoming article online or in print. Feature Presentation is issue is a reflection of what's going on today, but just like that to-do list at home, the information here shows that this industry is constantly changing. ere are new products, services, technologies, exhibits, events, practices…the list goes on and on. Ever heard of a floor coating that can help file the "nails" on a giraffe's feet? We hadn't either until we chatted with the folks in the article called "A Tall Order: Giraffe Enclosure Overhaul" (page 36). How about a swimming pool at a university athletic facility? Talk about a constantly moving environment — a wet one at that! You can find that article on page 60. Another of our features this issue pertains to insulation coatings, which is an evolving market. at article, showcasing a steel tank that holds beet juice, can be found on page 54. In addition to this month's feature stories, the departments share some information covering changing practices. Safety and how the govern- ment, and therefore your company, reacts to it is constantly changing in today's world. In our safety article, we are sharing tips on how to respond to an Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) violation (page 32). Your business strategy — width and depth — may also be constantly chang- ing. Are you adding more and more employees? Do you want to see it grow locally, nationally, globally? Find a few tips on expanding your business in the Marketing Savvy article on page 20. Coming Attractions At CoatingsPro, we also continue to offer new things outside of print that are a value add to your knowledge and business. is year, we started gearing up to put together some exciting and new things for our readers. We have a few events up our sleeve! ings are still in their early stages, so we can't mention any details yet, but be excited and on the lookout for what's to come to you soon! CP
