COATINGSPRO SEPTEMBER 2016 75 setups, a 3.5-in. (88.9 mm) sunlight readable color display, a data logger with up to 32 GB of memory, vibration on alarm, and a Live A-scan with real-time adjust- ments of range, gain, and rectification, all in a custom-engineered, high-im- pact case with rubber boot and bail. e new series can non-destructively measure the thickness of essentially any engineering material from 0.004 in. (0.1 mm) to 20 in. (508 mm), depending on material and transducer selection. e ECHO 7 series utilizes single element transducers up to 20 MHz, while the ECHO 8 can use single element and dual transducers. Operating at either 425 CFM at 100 psi or 375 CFM at 150 psi (12.0 m³/min. at 0.7 MPA or 10.6 m³/min. at 1.0 MPA), the P425/ HP375 delivers the pressure and flow options typical of two units in a single air compressor. e variable settings are suited to a wide range of applica- tions, including general construction, abrasive blasting, and structural steel spray painting. e HP450/ VHP400 operates at 450 CFM at 150 psi or 400 CFM at 200 psi (12.7 m³/min. at 1.0 MPA or 11.3 m³/min. at 1.4 MPA), allowing operators to change from a low-pressure to a high-pressure setting with one machine. e versatility is ideal for cable laying, pipeline testing, and operating pneumatic tools. Quik-Shield 108 is the first ultra-low density product ever, the company said, at a nominal 0.4 lb./ft.³ (6.4 kg/m³). is gives a 25 percent greater yield over traditional 0.5 lb./ft. (8.0 kg/m³) open-cell spray foam. A greater yield significantly reduces the material cost for projects, allowing contractors to be more competitive in bids. As a result, Quik-Shield 108 can bridge the price gap between spray foam and cheaper, traditional insulation products.
