Senior Sales & Technical Support RepresentativeIdeal Candidate – Chicago area based Description Franklin Park, IL manufacturer of high performance epoxy and urethane coating and adhesive systems for concrete substrates seeks locally-based Senior Sales Professional to: • Pursue and close internally-generated new customer sales leads • Develop new business leads in addition to those provided by the company • Provide technical assistance to existing contractor customers, end-users as well as to field sales personnel regarding product selection and installation techniques • Research installation issues that occur in the field and recommend solutions • Provide technical advice and input in the development of and in-house testing/ proofing of new products, and • Provide contractor training using PowerPoint and hands-on demonstrations. Requirements • Must have demonstrated knowledge and experience in the installation of resinous-based floor and wall coating systems and concrete repair products (e.g. crack injection, epoxy polymer concrete grouting/patching, etc.) Field installation experience a plus • Must have excellent writing, oral communication, listening and presentation skills • Must have the ability to recognize, anticipate and proactively address potential product application and customer relationship issues • Must be customer-oriented, dependable and able to service out-of-town accounts and meet with new potential customers • Must be proficient with Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and sales-related software programs.
