TECH TRICKS Snap, Crackle, and Pop K nowing when to change your material supply hoses will be a snap if you follow this helpful tip. As one coatings manufacturer reminds us, if the hoses crackle when you pull your pump out, that means that "A" material has started to crystallize inside the line. Industry practice says to replace the "A" supply hose every six months, but if you hear the tell-tale sounds, you'll know it is time to pop for a new hose sooner rather than later.
