It is a cast-in receptacle that is compatible with American National Standards Institute (ANSI)-rated anchorage connectors, such as the Guardian Mega-Swivel, or any ANSI-compliant anchor that attaches with a ⅝"-11 (15.9 mm) bolt. "It is part of our mission to make sure that at the end of every work shift, all temporary workers are able to go home safely to their families," said Dr. David Michaels, OSHA's assistant secretary of labor. During the five-year agreement, OSHA and ASA plan to educate workers about their rights and train staffing firms and clients on their responsibilities to protect workers. e partners will work to distribute information on how to recognize and prevent workplace hazards and to further develop ways of communicat- ing with staffing firms, host employers, and temporary workers. Built with an injec- tion molding technology, the H-700T hard hats are engineered to withstand radiant heat loads up to 190° C (374.0° F). e hats offer lightweight protec- tion (less than 380 g, or 13.4 oz.) with a suspension that sits lower on the head and increases security. e hard hats meet ANSI Z89.1-2014 Type 1, G standards.
