According to McGill Restoration, that's the colorful past that the parking garage attached to the J. L. Brandeis & Sons Building had in Omaha, Nebraska. e building, once a department store downtown, had been converted into a mixed condo and commercial use building. And the parking garage attached to it needed a similar overhaul to stay up to code. With rusted steel and patched concrete, condemnation number two — a real concern — would have been a travesty. McGill Restoration was called in to save the day! Forward March A lthough parking garages might not conjure up thoughts of exciting upgrades to the average Joe, as a new marble tile or colorful paint job might, for McGill Restoration, parking garages have become a bit of a specialty. ey have, therefore, become the local experts. "In Omaha, there are not a lot of companies like McGill that can do all of the repairs; we have the equipment, experience to get all of these types of work done," said James Bouckaert, estimator for McGill Restoration.
