CoATINGS NEwS fRoM NACE INTERNATIoNAl NACE International Announces New Corporate Membership Program I n January 2013, NACE International will launch a new corporate membership program that will offer additional services and streamlined membership categories. The redesigned corporate membership program introduces four new categories planned to provide corporations with significant savings and benefits such as more member representatives, increased knowledge resources, and discounts on advertising, education, events, and products. T he new prog r a m wa s de veloped with the participation of current corporate members who worked with an independent consultant to provide input through interviews, surveys, and a meeting at Corrosion Technology Week 2011. Throughout the process, corporate members indicated they want more financial benefits such as discounts, more promotional benefits, and additional knowledge benefits such as access to information and resources online. "We're pleased that our corporate members drove this effort and found more ways we can serve them," says Bob Chalker, NACE Executive Director. "We were striving to create a program that is equitable to all members and I believe we've accomplished that. We're looking forward to providing more of the benef its our corporate members need to build their businesses." Starting in January, corporate members will receive new benefits at all levels of membership and they will notice improvements to popular benefits they have enjoyed for years.
