COATINGSPRO MAY 2015 85 New Spill Kits Include Surface Treatment Oil Eater has introduced all-in-one, profes- sional-grade spill kits designed to contain and clean up hazardous spills in manufac - turing and other settings as required by Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). A bonus 5-gallon (19 L) bucket of Oil Eater Original cleaner is included in each kit to clean surfaces after the spill has been absorbed. It is waterborne, non-toxic, non-corro- sive, non-fammable, and biodegradable. Kits are available in 65-gallon (246 L) and 95-gallon (360 L) overpacks that can handle the corresponding volume of liquid. Te kits also contains absorbent pads, pillows, universal snakes, booms, protective gloves, oil-resistant high temperature disposal bags, and an emergency response instruction guide. Designed for high-fow applications, the new Jetstream 6000 Series waterblaster delivers output from 61.4 gpm (232.4 lpm) at 15,000 psi (103 MPa) up to 116.3 gpm (440.2 lpm) at 8,000 psi (55 MPa). Te standard Jetstream UNx fuid end allows fexibility in the feld and results in reduced maintenance downtime. Te engine-driven charge pump ensures the fuid end receives water at the correct pressure, regardless of the supply conditions. "While it is the most compact waterblaster in the industry, the 600 hp waterblaster delivers the kind of impressive power and performance our customers have come to expect from Jetstream," said Anthony Washington, product manager at Jetstream. It migrates in both liquid and vapor (gas) phases through the pore structure, forming a protective, molecular layer on embedded reinforcement and allowing vapor difusion. MCI 2020 provides strong corrosion protection against carbon- ation, chlorides, and other contaminants and will migrate independent of orientation (horizontal, vertical, or overhead up to 8 cm or 3 inches) in 30 days. MCI 2020 can be applied to new concrete or used for rehabilitation, and it will not delay construction or increase costs. MCI 2020 is recommended for preventative maintenance of existing reinforced, precast, prestressed, post-tensioned, or marine concrete structures, bridges, highways, and industrial foors exposed to aggres- sive environments (chemicals, de-icing salts, carbonation, and atmospheric attack), parking garages, concrete piers, dams, ofshore platforms, piles, pillars, pipes, utility poles, cooling towers, and concrete potable water structures.
