Chimney Swept Te timing for the job was right, but it meant having to coordi- nate with another contractor who was doing the chimney work. In this case, that contractor was Aspen Tile. "Tey would take all the chimneys of, we would spray the foam, then they would put the chimneys back on," Kohls said. A key to successful working relationships is communi- cation, so Kohls got in touch with Aspen Tile ahead of time to plan their attack. Te two companies also decided to share equipment rentals, since they both needed a lift and some other equipment. The four-person crew from Kohls Foam Systems, which hails from Twin Cities, Minn., hired subcontractor McDonald Farm Enterprises to remove the existing gravel of the roof, which was constructed in 1963.
