Dow is now the 100 -percent ow ner of Dow Corning's silicones business, which had revenues in 2015 of more than $4.5 billion. A pioneer in silicone- based technolog y and innovation, Dow Corning had been a 50:50 venture between Dow and Corning Inc. for 73 years. Dow says the deal extends its participation in the consumer and infrastructure solutions segments, and it provides integration into Dow's monomer and poly mer value chains. Dow Corning w ill operate as a wholly ow ned subsidiar y of Dow, and it w ill be headquartered w ith Dow in Midland, Michigan.
