RapidShield™ is cured instantly by a portable unit that emits UV-light, turning it into a solid film that creates a strong bond to the substrate. This fast cure means that within minutes, the floor can be used again. This is vital to customers who cannot tolerate long shutdowns or inter- rupted production. It produces a super-durable, non-slip, gloss finish with excellent chemical and stain resistance, and it doesn't fade when exposed to direct sunlight like epoxies. RapidShield™ has many benefits for flooring contractors. Its one-component formulation means there is no mixing and the product has a long shelf life, so containers can be resealed and stored after a job. Rollers, squeegees, and trays can be cleaned and reused too. Applying RapidShield is safer than traditional methods. It is non-flammable, low odor, and contains no solvents or isocyanates. It complies with all the latest VOC and HAP regulations. Disposal of waste containers is also easier, and because there are low to no VOC's, or any solvents, a contractor can take on potentially difficult projects like food processing plants, refrigerated rooms, schools, prisons, and other sensitive jobs.
