A five-person crew worked on this 4,000 -square-foot (371.6 m²) project in Louisville, Kentucky. Challenges included heights, lead, and winds. "e tank was 125 feet [38.1 m] tall and was located atop a 125-foot-tall [38.1 m] build- ing. is placed the top of the tank at 250 feet [76.2 m] above the ground elevation. High wind conditions created tears in the containment, which needed constant repair. A tunnel was erected on the roof to move the spent abrasive from the containment area to trash chutes attached to the side of the building. e spent abrasive was then dumped into the trash chutes into a sealed Dumpster located at ground level. Negative air was pulled on the tunnel, trash chutes, and Dumpster during the cleaning process."
